During the surveys, seabed prospecting was carried out amongst a 680 KHz side scan sonar. The locations amongst morphological abnormalities (targets) recorded during the sonar scanning were in addition to then checked amongst the purpose of a Remote Operated Vehicle which showed the target’s icon on a estimator screen. The microtopography was thence mapped of a pregnant body of body of water surface area that had remained unexplored till now.
