Tornadoes of 2011 is a serial of animated estrus maps showing tornado intensity, calendar month past times month, during 2011 inward the United States.
For each calendar month of 2011 a estrus map animates on the the Google Map to practice a visualisation of the tornado intensity during that month. The map itself is a cracking representative of using the Heatmap Layer inward the Google Maps API to add together a temporal dimension to a mapped visualisation.
The temporal dimension to the map allows the user to visualise non solely the locations of the tornadoes, calendar month past times month, simply and the occurrence of tornadoes throughout the year.
