Dr Stephen Dockrill, Senior Lecturer inward Archaeology, University of Bradford explains: “Analysis of crucible fragments too the flooring deposits demonstrated that a copper smith worked inward the building. The analysis of the flooring enables us to tell amongst confidence where the smith worked, side past times side to a hearth too 2 rock anvils.
