The Department of Antiquities of Cyprus, Ministry of Transport, Communications too Works, has announced the completion of the 2018 excavations at Pafos-Toumballos. The excavations are conducted past times the archaeological mission of the University of Catania, co-directed past times Filippo too Elvia Giudice.

In this area, numerous niches were excavated, which in all likelihood were used to concur lamps that were offered to the deity worshiped at the sanctuary (Fig.1). The excavations of 2013 too 2017 had revealed 2 walls, 1 amongst a North-South orientation too the other amongst an East-West one.

The instant room has been entirely partially explored too does non save traces of flooring. In this room a substantial layer of ruddy earth, mixed amongst pocket-size stones was removed inwards companionship to unwrap a considerable quantity of Late Classical too Hellenistic textile (such as, dark glazed Attic pottery, mugs, cups amongst palmette decoration, unguentaria, fragments of Oriental sigillata, amphora handles amongst stamps too fragments of mold-made drinking glass vessels).
